UNITED STATES.- In 2019, a gamma-ray burst called “GRB 190114C” was recorded. This gave the possibility that he could be the source of energy on unimaginable scales, allowing him to be extracted from a black hole. Thus, the study published in the journal Astronomy & Astrophysics caused a great stir among experts in astronomy. In this sense, this outbreak revealed that this type of event can have a luminosity similar to that of all the stars that can be seen in the Universe. “It was thought that the gamma ray bursts are driven by stellar mass black holes,” reveals the statement from the International Center for the Network of Relativistic Astrophysics (ICRANet). Moreover, it was added that this mechanism had always been “unknown”. Therefore, everything indicates that this new theory would explain this event with a model of hypernova, generated by two stars composed of carbon and oxygen and another of neutrons. In addition, RT explained that “the particles are accelerated along the magnetic field lines inherited from the neutron star.” Therefore, the field extracts the rotational energy of the ergosphere from the black hole itself. Likewise, the ICRANet statement published in Astronomy & Astrophysics highlighted this process, something that has left the world of physics and astronomy with a fair amount of speculation. “A rotating black hole, by interacting with the surrounding magnetic field, creates an electric field that accelerates electrons in the environment to produce high-energy radiation and very high-energy cosmic rays.” On the other hand, the International Center of the Relativistic Astrophysical Network also insisted on the characteristics of this discovery. They mention that the nature of the emissions is based on the “physical process which leads to the formation of electric and magnetic fields and the black hole”. In this way, it would repeat itself in very short periods which at the moment cannot be perceived.
