Tarek William Saab, Attorney General of the Nicolás Maduro regime, reported on Tuesday April 27 that, acting outside its jurisdiction, the Caracas metropolitan region court had decided to grant a precautionary measure to Jenny Lorena Rosales de Sousa, director of the Sambil model. Rosales was arrested at Maiquetía International Airport on Friday and is accused of being part of a human trafficking ring in which other people belonging to the organization are also believed to be involved. Saab explained that the director of the Sambil model, after capturing the women, put them in the service of the Negro Fabio gang in El Callao, in the state of Bolívar. The regime’s prosecutor said that the public prosecutor had presented the woman on Monday April 26. “Yesterday, the public prosecutor presented to Jenny Lorena Rosales de Sousa – asking accordingly – the declination of jurisdiction before the Court of the case of Bolívar because it is the natural judge and the organ that put themselves to ‘agreement on the respective arrest warrant, “he said on Twitter. He explained that the Caracas metropolitan area court had granted the defendant a precautionary measure, acting outside its jurisdiction. “Public prosecutors therefore exercised the appeal with suspensive effect, leaving Jenny Rosales temporarily detained,” he added. “Until the Court of Appeal rules on this appeal, the public prosecutor maintains its position of defense of the dignity of Venezuelan women, punishing crimes linked to human trafficking and sexual exploitation”, he concluded.
