Technology at the service of the Master Chief. The Dolby Atmos technology seems to want to fully impose itself on Xbox Series X | S. This feature provides better sound quality and is compatible with many headsets in the line, including Xbox wireless headsets. However, Dolby Vision, which offers better colors and higher brightness in images, has not yet been fully implemented in these systems. Currently available to Insiders, the feature should soon be available on our consoles. However, it will be necessary to have the right material and few titles currently benefit from this technology (only Gears 5 and Resident Evil Village). Well, as posted on its Dolby website, Halo Infinite will be joining this list when it is released. As we mentioned earlier, both PC and Xbox Series versions could benefit from this feature. We hope 343 Industries will provide a stable and error-free solution. We have seen previously that some EA titles (Mass Effect Andromeda, Anthem…) were only compatible with Dolby Vision for a short time because that caused a lot of problems. However, it would be a good way for the study to highlight the recent partnership between Xbox and Dolby. Finally, if you’re waiting for news on Halo Infinite, stay tuned for the Bethesda with Xbox conference scheduled for June 13.
