It’s the dream night of a Bon Jovi fan. They became one of the main characters yesterday at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction gala at the Cleveland Public Auditorium. A very important meeting with key members of Bon Jovi history: guitarist Richie Sambora and bassist Alec John Such. The New Jersey band performed some of their classics: Livin’ On A Prayer, You Give Love A Bad Name and It’s My Life.
Sambora debuted with the band for the first time since 2013. Alec John Such has been in the band since 1994, though he played with Bon Jovi in 2001. “I’m proud to be introduced to these guys. If I write a book, it’s called ‘My Best moment,'” says Sambora.
In addition to Bon Jovi, they were inducted yesterday into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; Moody Blues, The Cars, Dire Straits, Nina Simone and a special award for gospel pioneer Sister Rosetta Tharpe.
