Due to the ongoing works to extend the drinking water network in the community of San Ángel, belonging to the municipality of Lázaro Cárdenas, this is what caused the temporary suspension of the supply, reported the director of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Commission (CAPA), Silverio Mariano Canul. However, he said that was not going to lead to major problems, as a direct connection from the old well had been made to prevent families from encountering problems with lack of vital fluid. Likewise, he indicated that the suspension was due solely to the connection works that are carried out with the lines, since the vital liquid arrives with pressure even in the most remote areas. The expansion of the network has left the inhabitants of San Ángel without drinking water; it was explained that a direct connection had been established with the old well. He added that as long as there are no power cuts by the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), the supply of drinking water is guaranteed for the communities of Lázaro Cárdenas.
