Gun violence right outside the nation’s capital. Police and EMS are on the scene at Tysons Corner in response to a shooting inside the mall. My BF and I heard gunshots while shopping at Express and ran. We heard what sounded like gunshots on the first floor of Tysons, and then a wave of people shouting “shooter.” We gathered up our family and evacuated. Multiple police and first responders on scene, but no confirmation.

Friends in the DMV, stay away from Tysons Corner mall today. There is an active shooter warning. Stay safe. Sick and tired of this becoming so commonplace. Are we ever going to have gun control in this country?

Was in Nordstrom in Tysons Corner Mall, VA when everyone started running and fled the mall. Heard what could’ve been gunshots at around the 1 minute mark. Hope everyone is ok and it was a false alarm.
