We chased a clone of the pastel pink cardigan from Chanel’s Spring-Summer 2021 collection in the Asos catalog

The arrival of Virginie Viard at the head of the creation of Chanel after the death of her mentor Karl Lagerfeld (remember that she entered the emblematic firm as an intern in 1987 and reached the top of the ranks) gave a new look at home. Despite the fact that Viard follows the aesthetic guidelines that define the standards of one of the most marked firms in history, the Frenchwoman has been able to bring her touch and adapt Chanel’s proposals to new times. The house’s spring-summer 2020 collection, which we enjoyed last October, was a success. Black and white coexisted with colors like red and pastel pink in designs that showed tweed, mesh and logomania to be good friends. Among all the clothes we found a pastel pink cashmere cardigan with contrasting stitching in navy blue (which Carlota Casiraghi wore in the collection campaign photos and which has an approximate price of 5800 euros) which has a low cost of clone at Asos. Almost identical, it’s this cardigan by Neon Rose that leaves cashmere behind and opts for a soft knit mix of acrylic, polyamide and elastane. Another difference is in the length, the Chanel model is just above the knees while this design is a standard fit. Of course, the similarities are endless: from the color and contrast stitching to the V-neckline and side pockets. Finally, notice that its price is 44.95 euros, an option suitable for Chanel lovers who do not have a high budget.
