Private photos and videos of UW volleyball players have been shared online. Police are now investigating the leak.
The Milwaukee Sentinel obtained a leaked photo circulating online showing some team members flashing cameras. The photos appear to have been taken after the Badgers won the Big Ten last November.

The state of Wisconsin released a statement explaining that the photos and videos were not intended for publication. University police are not investigating any misconduct against the student-athlete, but are investigating how the images were released.
“When the student-athletes became aware that the photos had been circulating, they contacted the UW–Madison Police Department. UWPD is investigating multiple crimes, including sharing sensitive photos without consent.”
“UWPD is not investigating volleyball student-athletes for misconduct in this matter. Our priority is to support our student-athletes, and we are providing them with appropriate services and resources,” the Wisconsin statement said in part.
A report said some of the content had been posted on various websites but had since been removed.
Wisconsin Volleyball is No. 5 in the nation with a 7-1 record this season. The Badgers have three straight Final Four games.
