MP Judith Rodríguez Villanueva reported that she had filed an appeal with Ieqroo over the ruling which determined that gender-based political violence against her by PRI leaders in Quintana Roo was “non-existent”. He said he will wait for members of the Electoral Institute of Quintana Roo to render their decision and if he continues to reject his complaint, he will file an appeal with the chamber of Xalapa. He considered that there was a deficiency in the investigation carried out by the electoral authorities, because the denial, the offenses and the grievances committed against him by the leaders of the PRI, Candelaria Ayuso and Alberto Alonso Ovando, were public when ‘ he decided to resign from this party. . He noted that he was surprised that the Legal Department of the Electoral Institute of Quintana Roo took only a few paragraphs of the communiqué published by the PRI and based its decision. “In the opinion of the Ieqroo, there were no grievances against me, while it was public that they attacked my dignity with disqualifications which were unfortunately replicated on social networks, with offenses and unfounded accusations, ”he said. He recalled that after having lodged a complaint for political gender violence, the electoral authority had taken precautionary measures which had forced the leaders of the PRI to refrain from any comment on him.
